One of our biggest fear is to hear, “we didn’t know about that” from a parent. And we are sure, you as parents, do not like not knowing what is going on within the organization. So we have adapted a number of ways we can communicate with each of you. Please subscribe to at least 1 (or even better – to ALL) of our communication avenues so you don’t miss out!
Our Weekly Newsletter – We send out a weekly newsletter every Wednesday or Thursday during the season. This is the one avenue that is required for all parents of current players/cheerleaders. This weekly newsletter will consist of information about that week’s upcoming game, any practice changes and any other vital information you need to know. When your registration is completed, you will be automatically signed up for this newsletter with the email that was given when you registered your player/cheerleader. If you have a spouse you would also like to receive the newsletter, please have them signup here. All past newsletter are saved and you can find the archive list to read here.
Website Posting– Another avenue we use is our website, of course. We will post the same information we put in our newsletter right here on our blog/news section of our website. You can use this link to bookmark our news section. Make sure you subscribe to the news page as well. When you subscribe to the page, you will be sent an email every time we post to that page.
Remind 101 – Remind 101 is a free one-way text messaging service that allows us to text you without you giving us your actual phone number. All the phone numbers are kept private and anonymous. You maybe familiar with this service already as many teachers use it. Many of the coaches have adapted this service as well to send out quick reminders to their parents. If your players/cheerleader’s coach is using it, be sure to sign up for it!
