To help mitigate situations that previously required parents, volunteers and TYFA staff to gather in large numbers at the TYFA HQ, TYFA will implement a virtual certification this season utilizing the TYFA Web App and Zoom.
Instead of us having to travel and gather everyone in one location for certification, with Zoom and modifications made to the Web App, TYFA will certify our volunteers and athletes from their home while you will be in yours!
TYFA has out did themselves this time with Virtual Certification as Players can be sitting on the couch certifying (please make sure they are wearing a shirt!) And although TYFA has streamline their certification process these last few years, it seems this virtual certification is even FASTER! Your player can be in and out of certification in less than 10 minutes!!
Of course, you will still have to go through the process of updating and verify your player’s TYFA profile, sign the Agreement/Waiver documents and have the baseline for the HitCheck completed by your player.
